Project Description
After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), I embarked on my professional journey at bKash Limited as a Merchant Development Officer (MDO). In this role, I gained valuable experience in managing business relationships and expanding merchant networks.
With a drive to diversify my expertise, I joined Iferi.com as a Business Development Manager. Working with this online e-commerce platform, I contributed significantly to business growth and enhancing its digital presence. My professional journey then led me to BizMotion Limited, a software company, where I worked as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. At BizMotion, I resolved bugs both manually and with automation tools, while also training employees from various companies to use our app effectively, ensuring seamless software functionality.
Simultaneously managing professional responsibilities, I pursued a Master’s degree in Applied Physics and Electronics (APE) at Jahangirnagar University. This phase of my life honed my ability to balance academic and professional commitments, further enhancing my skill set.
Driven by a passion for the IT sector, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad to expand my knowledge and expertise. Currently, I am enrolled in a Master’s program in Information Technology (IT) at St. Francis College in the United States. This advanced degree is an essential milestone in my journey toward contributing to the global IT industry.
My ultimate aspiration is to pursue a Ph.D., delving deeper into research and innovation to make a meaningful impact in the field of information technology.
As a proud member of the BUBT Alumni Association, I remain inspired and supported by this incredible network, which continues to motivate me in both my academic and professional endeavors.
I encourage all juniors to adopt this strategic approach as they complete their bachelor’s degree. Join any company to start; don’t worry too much about how big or small it is, or whether it’s related to your degree or field of study. Regardless of the starting salary, the priority should be to acquire real-world experience and sharpen your skills in any field.
Building a strong foundation by adding worthwhile experience to your resume should be the first priority for any recent graduate. Not only does it boost your credibility, but it also allows you to build networks and professional connections, which are essential for career growth. Once you’ve expanded your skill set and gained relevant experience, you’ll be in a better position to identify and follow your own path to success.
Focus on learning, adapting, and growing—it will pay off in the long run.
