During his academic years at BUBT, Shuvo demonstrated a strong passion for technology, particularly in networking, systems, and IT infrastructure.
Upon graduation, he embarked on a steady career trajectory and is currently serving as a Junior IT Officer at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM), the premier training and research institute for the banking sector in Bangladesh. Shuvo’s transition from an EEE student to an IT professional in a prestigious financial institution is a testament to his hard work, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning. He credits the strong foundation he gained at BUBT for playing a pivotal role in his career and technical growth.
“BUBT gave me more than just a degree—it gave me a vision. The knowledge, mentorship, and environment there helped me discover my true interests in IT, even with an EEE background,” says Shuvo.
We are proud to highlight Md. Shofiqul Islam Shuvo as a prime example of how EEE graduates can thrive in diverse fields such as IT and banking. His journey serves as an inspiration to current students and fellow alumni, demonstrating that with dedication, the right mindset, and adaptability, the opportunities are limitless.
