My journey began with a simple dream—to do something meaningful for my country. That dream led me to study Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at BUBT, where I was part of the 3rd intake, day shift.

My time at BUBT was more than just academic learning—it was the foundation for the person I am today. The guidance from our teachers, hands-on projects, and peer collaboration all played a crucial role in shaping my mindset and work ethic.

Professionally, my journey started at SQ Group, then I moved to BBS Group, and currently, I am serving at Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC. Throughout all three organizations, I have worked in the same field—Research and Innovation. Today, I hold the position of Deputy Director in the Research and Innovation Department.

From my experience, I can confidently say—there are no shortcuts to success. Continuous learning, patience, and self-belief have been my most valuable tools on this path.

🎓 Message to Juniors:

As you shape your academic and career journey, remember that the world outside the classroom is evolving rapidly. To stay ahead, here are a few practical suggestions I’d like to share:

🔧 Focus on Industry-Relevant Skills:
For engineering or technical students, tools like AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks, Python, IoT, or PLC programming are highly valuable.
For business students, Excel, Power BI, Digital Marketing, or data analysis skills are essential.

🛠️ Take Internships or Part-Time Jobs:
Real-world experience is crucial. Try to secure internships—even if unpaid—to understand how industries work. It will boost your confidence, build professional habits, and grow your network.

🧪 Work on Real Projects:
Don’t rely on theory alone. Create something—a mini device, a software tool, or a research-based project. Employers value initiative and problem-solving skills.

📚 Stay Curious and Keep Learning:
Your greatest advantage is the willingness to learn. Be open to asking questions, trying new things, and challenging yourself.

💡 Remember: “It’s not about being the best—it’s about being better than you were yesterday.”
A growth mindset and consistency will take you further than talent alone.
