Sabbir Hossain, a proud alumnus of BUBT’s Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) Department, 20th intake, has established himself as a distinguished professional in the modern semiconductor industry. He is currently working as an IC Physical Design Engineer in the Physical Design/PNR (Place and Route) Department at Siliconova Ltd, a renowned company in the semiconductor design and fabrication sector.

Sabbir’s leadership skills were evident even during his university days, as he served as the Vice Chairperson and General Secretary of BUBT’s IEEE Club. Under his guidance, the club organized several workshops, seminars, and technology-focused events that greatly benefited students and helped nurture their potential.

His professional journey is equally inspiring. From BUBT classrooms to working on intricate integrated circuit designs, Sabbir has developed expertise in PNR techniques, which are critical for creating efficient and high-performance ICs. His contributions ensure that chips meet the modern industry’s demanding standards for speed and compactness.
