Rakib Hasan, a distinguished alumnus of the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), has emerged as a prominent professional in the field of electrical and electronic engineering. Graduating with an impressive CGPA of 3.82/4.00 from the 23rd intake, Rakib’s academic journey was marked by both scholastic brilliance and passionate engagement in extracurricular and leadership initiatives.

During his time at BUBT, he held pivotal roles including Vice Chairperson of the IEEE BUBT Student Branch, General Secretary of the ESAB BUBT Unit Face, and a core member of the BUBT EEE Club’s Robotics Team. His contributions went beyond traditional learning, spearheading campus-wide innovation in robotics, sustainable energy applications, and practical engineering problem-solving.

Professional Achievements: Engineering with Purpose
Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Erectors Testing Solutions Limited, Rakib is entrusted with some of Bangladesh’s most critical power infrastructure projects. His portfolio includes significant contributions to the Cox’s Bazar 132/33KV AIS Substation, Marjal 132/33KV Substation, and the Amtoli 400kV Switching Station—a landmark initiative in high-voltage infrastructure. He has also been a key contributor to SCADA integration projects under NESCO, enhancing grid intelligence and reliability across the nation.

Rakib plays a vital role in the installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage substations, ensuring compliance with global and national standards such as IEEE, IEC, and BNBC. His expertise in the field is matched by a commitment to quality, safety, and long-term operational efficiency.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Rakib continues to pursue his passion for innovation. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted impactful research integrating sustainable energy with smart agriculture, exemplifying his belief that engineering is not only about technology—it is about societal transformation.
