Project Description

Millat Hossen began his academic journey in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) department of BUBT’s 2nd intake Evening. Through hard work, perseverance, and a deep passion for learning, he has built a successful career that has made significant impacts in both the industry and education sectors.

Currently, he works as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh), where he is responsible for industrial power systems and electrical maintenance. Additionally, he serves as the Department Head (Electrical Engineering) at Bongodhritri Textile and Polytechnic Institute, located in Mauna, Gazipur.

Millat has also made substantial contributions to education. His previous roles include:

  • Guest Lecturer (ICT) – Gazipur Fazil – B.A Madrasah
  • Lecturer (ICT) – Gazipur Model Public School & College
  • Junior Instructor (Guest) – Dhaka Govt. Mohila Polytechnic Institute
  • Instructor – Desh Polytechnic College
  • Junior Instructor – Rumdo Institute of Modern Technology

Millat Hossen’s journey proves that EEE graduates can not only excel in industry but also make remarkable contributions to education. He considers BUBT the foundation of his professional growth and continues to serve as an inspiration for future generations of engineers.


Message for Juniors:

If you are a junior and want to build a career in the industrial sector, simply relying on academic studies is not enough. To align yourself with industry demands and real-world tasks, it’s essential to gain additional skills. Along with your academic courses, it’s important to pursue various automation-related courses such as:

  • Industrial Controlling
  • VFD (Variable Frequency Drive)
  • PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)
  • HMI (Human Machine Interface)

These courses will enhance your ability to meet the real demands of the industry. There is often a significant difference between the academic curriculum in polytechnics or universities and the practical work in industry. Therefore, by gaining expertise in these fields, you will be better prepared to enter the workforce and build a successful career.
