Md. Sohel Rana, a distinguished alumnus from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) department at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), intake 12, has excelled academically and professionally, earning respect and recognition along the way.

At BUBT, Sohel demonstrated a deep passion for electrical engineering, known for his commitment to learning and problem-solving. His hard work and academic achievements laid a solid foundation for his future career, earning admiration from both peers and faculty.

Professionally, Sohel joined Walton Group, a leading electronics company in Bangladesh, as Deputy Assistant Director. His expertise has been pivotal in product development and system optimization, where he has contributed to technology integration and quality control. His efforts have been instrumental in helping Walton maintain its status as a top electronics brand in Bangladesh, showcasing his dedication to technological innovation.

Sohel’s commitment to his roots extends to his role as Treasurer of the first BUBT EEE Alumni Association committee. His leadership has strengthened alumni connections and fostered a vibrant network that supports career development and collaboration. Through effective management, he has ensured transparency and strategic resource use, benefiting both alumni and students.
